Who we are

ALPA is a customer driven supplier of highly specialised equipment servicing the needs of among others the HVAC, nuclear, containment, clean room, diagnostic laboratory, research laboratory, veterinary, medical, pharmaceutical industries.

Our team is highly experienced and qualified with the necessary expertise to ensure customers are able to make the right decisions when it comes to investing in the equipment we supply.

The Team

Geraldine Pretorius

Director

Geraldine is an accomplished legal professional and business leader with extensive experience in both legal and operational sectors. A member of the Pretoria Society of Advocates and Hazeldean Advocates Chambers, she specializes in litigation and holds an LLB degree. With specialized training in Advocacy and Cleanroom Classification, Geraldine is committed to legal excellence and operational efficiency, making her a distinguished leader and trusted advisor in her field.

Morrison Smit

Director

Morrison Smit is a Chartered Accountant (SA) with extensive experience in finance, strategy, and governance. Previously, he served as CEO of The Makings Ltd, specializing in M&A, governance, and strategy. He has held leadership roles as Financial Director and COO at Sephaku Holdings Ltd, where he helped list the company on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and secured R3 billion for cement plant financing. Additionally, he was Financial Director at Digoco Mining Ltd, where he led the company’s listing and developed a diamond mine. Morrison holds a B Compt (Hons) in Accounting and an MBL in Management.

Jaco Verster

Senior Executive/Marketing

With extensive international experience, Jaco has built a robust career in marketing, business development, and forensic services. As a Senior Executive, he leverages expertise gained from prestigious firms specializing in forensic investigations, corporate law, and client management. An advocate of the Supreme Court of South Africa, Jaco holds a BLC and LLB in Law, with certifications in Third Party Claims Management and International Mergers and Acquisitions. His cross-industry knowledge positions him as a leader in driving strategic growth and delivering innovative solutions.

Cassandra-Anne Baxter

General Manager

With over 10 years of experience in sales and customer relations, Cassandra-Anne, known as Cassey, is a dynamic manager specializing in CURIS Systems for decontamination. She is recognized for her in-depth product knowledge, strategic insights, and her ability to drive significant revenue growth. Cassey excels in building long-term client relationships, leading high-performing teams, and implementing innovative strategies to exceed targets. Her dedication to excellence ensures customer satisfaction, fosters client loyalty, and drives sustainable success in competitive markets.

Natalia Coetzee

Sales Representative

With 20 years of experience in the industrial air filtration industry, Natalia Coetzee specializes in the sales of filters, biosafety cabinets, fume hoods, and laminar flow systems. She offers in-depth knowledge and tailored solutions to meet the needs of clients in various industries, ensuring optimal air filtration and safety. Natalia's expertise and dedication to customer satisfaction have made her a trusted advisor in providing high-quality air management solutions.

Francois Brink

Sales Representative

Dumisani Mkhonto

Sales Representative

Dumisani is a results-driven Sales Representative with 5 years of experience in identifying business opportunities, cultivating long-term relationships, and driving revenue growth. Sales Support

Her bubbly and outgoing personality, coupled with a fearless approach to engaging with people, makes her a natural at building connections and fostering relationships. Skilled in sales, procurement, and tender pricing, Cathy is a dynamic professional dedicated to delivering exceptional results and supporting organizational growth.

Nthabiseng Phoshoko

Sales Administrator

Nthabiseng, known as Dina, is a dedicated Sales Administrator with over 5 years of experience in supporting sales teams, managing accounts, and processing orders. With over 20 years of experience in Biomedical Science, Humphrey combines expertise in business management, leadership, and channel management. Holding a BSc in Biochemistry and an MSc in Molecular Virology, he currently drives marketing and sales for medical laboratory, research, and hospital instrumentation, specializing in Baker Ruskinn products across sub-Saharan Africa. An entrepreneurial self-starter, Humphrey focuses on revenue growth, building strong partnerships, and advocating for positive societal change to empower underprivileged communities.
