To measure and monitor airflow within dense electronic systems & enclosures, we have designed an array of in-situ air velocity sensors that can be directly soldered or socketed to your PCBA. These sensors can manage air flow intake and exhaust disruptions, clogged filters, slot-to-slot imbalances, and provide monitoring of critical fans or components.

F660/F662 PCB Board-Mount Digital Airflow Sensor (Vertical Profile)

The F660/F662 is the smallest, fully-integrated, board-solderable, digital air velocity and air temperature sensor on the market, for real-time on-board measurement. The F660 (15-24V input) and F662 (5-12V input) can be soldered directly to a printed circuit board, or plugged into a surface-mount socket for easy removal. The taller profile is used in 2RU electronic systems, or those where component height is not heavily restricted.

  • Designed for 2RU & Vertical Profile Electronics
  • Designed for Wave Solder Systems
  • Velocity Range: 0.15m/s – 20.0m/s (30fpm – 4000fpm)
  • Response Time: 400 ms
  • Input Voltage Range: 5 – 24 VDC
  • Digital Output: 3.3 VDC UART or I²C
  • Optional Alarm Output
F661/F663 Board-Mount Digital Airflow Sensor (Horizontal Profile)

The F661/F663 is the smallest, fully-integrated, board-solderable, digital air velocity and air temperature sensor on the market, for real-time on-board measurement. The F661 (15-24V input) and F663 (5-12V input) can be soldered directly to a printed circuit board, or plugged into a surface-mount socket for easy removal. The lower profile is used in 1RU electronic systems, or those where component height is heavily restricted.

  • Designed for 1RU & Low Profile Electronics
  • Designed for Wave Solder Systems
  • Velocity Range: 0.15m/s – 20.0m/s (30fpm – 4000fpm)
  • Response Time: 400 ms
  • Input Voltage Range: 5 – 24 VDC
  • Digital Output: 3.3 VDC UART or I²C
  • Optional Alarm Outpu
RFS300 Board-Mount Digital Airflow Sensor (Reference Design)

The RFS300 is a board-mount air velocity and temperature sensor that uses a reference design circuit for maximum positioning flexibility, thereby creating the smallest possible sensor footprint (6mm x 6mm). The RFS300 is designed to be soldered directly to a printed circuit board or mounted to a surface mount socket for easy removal or maintenance.

  • Velocity Range: 0.15m/s – 20.0m/s (30fpm – 4000fpm)
  • Response Time: 400 ms
  • Relative Humidity: (non-condensing) 5-95%
  • Supply Power Requirements:
    +12-24 VDC, 10mA nominal
(At <18VDC, some low temperature/high flow limitations apply, see Board Mount Sensor manual)
  • Digital Output: 3.3 VDC UART or I²C
  • Optional Alarm Output: Configurable trip point
  • Housing Material: UL94-V0
