The welding table from Camfil perfectly fits into any workshop for fabrication or repairs. Equipped with two extraction points, the built-in downdraft extraction and the flexible and easy to position 2 meter extraction arm, the welding table captures dusts, fumes and sparks directly at the source and therefore helps to reduce operators health risks and to improve the indoor air quality. The extracted process air is usually routed to the local exhaust ventilation system.
Workplace extraction systems are another source capture solution from Camfil to protect operators and the environment from dry airborne dust and fumes and can be easily connected with existing central extraction and filter systems.
Workplace extraction systems like Camfil´s welding table, grinding bench and extraction arms are a smart and cost-effective way to capture dry airborne dust and fumes directly at the source and to improve the indoor air quality in production facilities.
The systems are designed for use in any workshop for fabrication and repairs, to protect operators and the environment from harmful dust and fume as well as sparks and metal particles. The welding table and the grinding bench are full workplaces with backdraft and/or downdraft exhaust and can be configured with an integrated or separate extraction fan. The extraction arms can be seen as a built-up solution for existing workplaces and extensions of the ductwork. Available as standing or hanging models, the arms can be mounted beside or above the workplace, not disturbing the process but reliable in extracting dust and fumes directly at the source.
All three workplace systems can easily be connected to a central extraction system from where, depending on the type of emissions, the process exhaust air is routed to a dust collector to get cleaned or ducted to the atmosphere where permitted. All workplace systems are plug-and-play solutions and easy to install and maintain. Manufactured in metal construction and with a durable powder-painted finish the workplace extraction systems are built for the industrial environment in which they are to be used.
